All About Our Kids:

Cheyanne turned 9 in August. She is very athletic and headstrong. She is also very smart and easily bored in school. She has always been a very quick learner so she gets really tired of having to go over the same information several times in class. She was asked by her teacher to take time several times a week to read to the preschool classes. So she gets to spend time working with preschoolers each week. She has really enjoyed this, not only does she get to read to young kids which she has always loved, but she also gets to leave class for a while. She loves playing soccer and has scored quite a few goals this season. She normally plays foward or half-back, except when they are really winning, then they move her to defender and give the other kids a chance to kick the ball. Her team is undefeated this season and playing really well together. She also takes piano lessons and is really starting to take off. She picks up new songs very easily and memorizes quickly. She even enjoys practicing. The other sport she enjoys is softball. She quite often practices with Thomas and I before or after our games. She is getting pretty good and thinks she may choose to play softball in the spring instead of soccer. She will still be able to play fall soccer. She is also looking foward to basketball season this January. She has been practicing a lot and has been pretty consistant in making baskets. She is also my biggest helper. She is always ready to do a favor for me or entertain the younger kids. She is very eager to please and we appreciate and love her very much!!!

Kallie turned 7 in June. She is a gentle soul. She is always very concerned about others and shows her love very openly. She has lots of friends at school and really enjoys being around lots of people. She is a great sister and is always ready to help someone finish chores or help clean up someone elses mess to keep them from getting in trouble. She wears her heart on her sleeve and shows her emotions easily. She is also very entertaining. She comes up with the most unique thoughts and always keeps us laughing. She excels at school and is regularly recieving best writing awards for her creativity and imagination. Her teacher says she can always count on Kallie to tell her the truth of a situation or to comfort someone who is sad. She loves church also and is always eager to tell us what she learned that day. She plays soccer and enjoys it, but is not really aggresive so she just goes with the flow. She has fun and that is what is most important to us and to her. We love her easy going spirit and her love for others.

Kassie turned 7 in June. She is a complete joy to be around. She is funny and entertaining and always full of surprizes. She is our nature lover and is always out looking for her next lizard, moth or beetle. She loves searching for the wild mustangs as we drive and has even named a few. She is a book lover and can easily read for hours at a time. She also keeps us all in line readily informing us when we have broken a house rule!! She is easy to love and gives her love openly. She feels deeply for others emotions and always wants everyone else to be happy. She has lots of friends at school and does anything she can to help others. She is happiest when she has made someone smile. She has a very contagious smile and a laugh that is hard to stop. She enjoys playing soccer and is learning that determination in a game pays off. She plays hard and is happy for anybody that scores, even the other team. Her latest interest is science and recycling. The new science teacher at school caught her attention and she is hooked. She looks foward to science hour each week. She was thrilled to learn they will be disecting and researching a baby shark and frogs this year. Although she is growing up she can still be very silly and enjoys laughing at herself. She feels deeply and shares her love with anyone. We love her adventerous spirit and determination.

Broc was 3 last November and is anxiously looking foward to his birthday. He is Mommy's right hand guy and Daddy's most eager assistant. He is all boy despite his sisters efforts. He would spend each and every hour of the day outside in the dirt, on the tractor, on a bike and with his dog if possible. He is the sweetest little man ever, eager to say I love you and gives the best hugs possible. He has promised me he will always hug me even when he is a great big boy. He loves books and will make up his own story to the pictures if no one is able to read to him right then. He loves storytime at the library and making the projects each week to show off to eveyone at home. He started preschool once a week this fall and counts the days each week. He has lots of friends and is always wanting someone over to play with. He loves going to soccer practice with sisters because each of the coaches let him play just like the big kids at practice. When Thomas is home working outside Broc is always by his side with his own minature tool just like the one dad is using. He will work as long as dad if we let him. He loves to pick strawberries and share a few with the rest of us. He could spend hours watching a lizard come in and out of his hole, and try really hard to convince anyone to come watch with him or try to catch it for him. Pretty soon he will be catching them himself and bringing them to me to put in the tariarium. He is an avid Star Wars fan and knows each of the movies by heart and can tell you all his favorite parts, who everyone is, good or bad, and what color light sabor they use!! He loves the water and will swim any chance he gets. He also is my favorite classroom helper. He goes with me to the girls classes each week and finds the book corner and reads quietly to himself the whole time. If he gets done reading he finds me and helps me with whatever project I am working on. He especially loves helping me makes copies, a great button pusher!!! We love his joy for life and sensitive personality. He shows his love for his family so openly and so sincerely!
