- Thomas went back to the ENT Doc to go over his sleep study results. And though the Cpap is helping it can't ever help enough to get him out of the danger zone. So he suggested surgery, which we had planned on from the beginning. He's broken his nose too many times and has almost no airflow through it. But we can't schedule it until Thomas is between projects, and it just so happens that 4 are just getting started, so it will probably not happen until late August. The Dr. said he would remove his tonsils, open up that airway by scraping down the surface all the way around to make it bigger. He will also open up his nose airways adn clear his deviated septum. He made it clear he was not a plastic surgeon, so the crooked part will remain, which is wonderful. I like his nose the way it is, it wouldn't look like him without it!! So we'll let you know when we know more...
- The kids all finished up t-ball and softball. The girls remained undefeated. They really enjoyed this season and learned a lot. The coaches were begging me to let Chey play on the all star tourney team. Even suggesting (in jest) that we ask the Bishop to change Sunday to Monday for 6 weeks. They know we don't play on Sunday, and all their tourneys are 2 day weekend tourneys. They really needed a good SS/3rd base player. But they wouldn't agree to let her only play the Saturday games, so that's that. Kallie and Kassie improved through the whole season. Kallie really started hitting the ball and getting some power behind it. Kassie is still struggling with the timing and predicting where the ball is going to come across. So we'll keep working with her this year and she'll be a hitter next year!
Broc ended the season great. He stopped using the tee after the first few games and almost always got great hits off the coach. He will move up to coach pitch next year and he is very ready to play "real" games, with outs and everything, according to him!
- The last few weeks of school were very busy. The 30th was a time capsule assembly. Because it was the first year for our school they put together a time capsule and hid it in a wall at the school, with a plaque saying it will be opened in 50 years! Maybe we'll still be around!! Chey played the piano in the school variety show. She did awesome, she always acts so confident and as ease. My mom was able to come and spend a few days and be there for the variety show. Chey was so so happy granma was able to make it. She also had a 5th grade playday. They played all morning and had lots of fun treats. The next day was the school wide funday. I was suppose to help outside with waterballoons and the bounce house, but due to extremely high winds and colder weather we moved it inside. Well, not the waterballoons. But with Nait I couldn't stay outside so I helped inside. It was a great day. Every kid in the school came through and played in the bounce house and jumped rope and hulla hooped while waiting for their turn. Nait did awesome. He took 2 really good naps and really enjoyed all the attention from so many kids. The next day was Chey's 5th grade advancement ceremony. She was awarded 3 different times for honor roll, graduation and Presidential Academic Achievement. She thought it was pretty cool to get a certificate with Pres. Bush's signature on it.
The last day of school was great. Everyone loved this year and we are so happy with the teachers and friends that were made. The girls all had a great year!! 
Broc had his last day of COW bus, but then we decided to let him go through the summer. We thought it would be a good thing for him to have to himself for the summer, and a way to see his friends more. He was very excited with that decision.
-The last weekend of school was also the ward Father-Son campout. Thomas was in charge of organizing it this year so we have been planning and discussing for weeks. Broc has been so anxious for the day to finally come!! So he and Thomas left early afternoon Friday and had a great time. They made it back Saturday for Broc's last T-ball game. After the game we had a team picnic to receive awards and trophies. It was a very busy day, with very tired boys!! But we made it through and everyone slept well that night.
- The girls had their last piano lesson with Kathryn Butikofer. We are so sad to see Rees and Kathryn move. They are great friends. She was a wonderful teacher and she gave the girls a great music foundation. Unfortunately it will be impossible to replace her. Everyone else that teaches around here charges twice what she did, and with 3 soon to be 4 kids in lessons, not something that was in the budget. So that means I will have to continue their lessons. I never wanted to teach them myself, just because it is harder to teach your own kids and then listen to them practice all week. It is much easier to be able to say, " Kathryn is going to be really upset with your lazy practice this week!" But since we don't have any other options right now, that is how it will have to be. I am also going to teach a few others, without letting it be made public that I'm teaching. I don't want a full time job, just want to be able to help a friend and my nieces out. Anyway, so the girls had their last recital with Kathryn. It was great and we are going to miss her terribly!! Rees too, we'll miss him entertaining Broc during church. We are so glad we will have chances to see them as we travel to Idaho, but it won't be the same here without them.
Well the first week out of school has been quite productive. We went over summer chore lists on Monday and everyone had their input and opinions. We came up with a good list and expectations to go along with it. So far this week they have done great! They've all been great to get chores done, rooms picked up, beds made, dressed, fed and brushed before playing or turning on the TV or games. Chey has been great to get Nait in the morning and let me sleep a bit more. We didn't go to Tahoe this first week because it has been so dang cold still. We are really hoping for warmer weather next week. But we did go to the park today and played for a couple of hours. Then KK&B went home with aunt Laura while Chey, Nait and I shopped for camping this weekend. We are going up to Bucks Lake, outside Quincy with the Klings. Staci has to check out the 4th year girls camp overnight hike she is planning to make sure the trails are all where they say they are on the maps. So we are going to hike it Sat. afternoon. The kids are really excited to go. It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend. Should be fun!! But first I get to get my hair cut tomorrow morning, finally. I am so ready to chop it all off!! We'll see how short I go. And since Sunday is Father's Day we are going to stay all weekend and relax and enjoy our fabulous husbands and fathers.
The only other new info is the size of my so so big baby. He is pushing out of all his 12 months clothes, so the 18 months are coming out. Except all Broc's 18 month clothes are very winter, and Utah winter at that, so they don't help out at all! Nait is wonderful. He is sleeping great and is so funny. He is very entertained by the kids and has to stop what ever he is doing when someone walks into the room, it makes nursing quite difficult sometimes! He's been sprayed in the face many times lately!! He is such a joy!!
Well so much for the condensed versions. If you know me, than you couldn't really expect it!! Thomas is packing the van right now so we can meet him in Reno tomorrow early afternoon. I probably should be helping. TTFN!!

You probably have the busiest life out of anyone I know... Seriously, and it sounds like you handle everything so well and keeping the kids organized can't be easy. Props to ya, and I can't wait to see you in Sept.
