It is so good to see my family. It's been way to long. We usually get over to Nevada City every month or so, but we haven't for a few months.
My parents, sister & kids and sister and baby all come over this afternoon. Most made it to Broc's baseball game. He was so excited to see everyone there, especially Austin. He loves his oldest cousin so much!!

This was his first game swing with his new, much heavier and longer bat. It was a GREAT hit! Straight up the middle past 2nd base!

Look at my boy avoid the tag, he's a natural!
Austin has always treated him like a little brother, and with all the girls around our house, they have had good bonding time!!
Before the game ended, we had to hurry to Kallie and Kassie's spring concert. They have been practicing for months and were so excited. They had told me they wanted to invite David, but we kept forgetting to call this week when he wasn't at work. So they called him on the way there and invited him to come. Adding, by the way, it starts in 30 minutes!

They were so excited to get started!

Singing America the Beautiful
David and Laura and their 3 girls all came. Kallie and Kassie sang last with the 5th grade, because they are in a combined 4/5 class. Thankfully they did, because Thomas and Broc ran in right before they started, straight from his game. The girls sang beautifully. The second song was the Armed Forces Medley. They asked all current and former soldiers to stand when their song was being sung. Kallie and Kassie GLOWED when David stood up. They had little tears in their eyes and smiled as big as I've ever seen. It made me cry! They were so proud of their uncle and so happy he was able to come so they could sing to him. It was a great night!

After the concert, aren't they beautiful in their Red, White and Blue!
