So with the tongue clipping we are hoping he is able to nurse better. He was having a difficult time getting my hind milk, the good stuff, down. So he was hungrier more often than normal and had a hard time getting full at each feeding. This should help, but both of us are going to have to work on getting my milk built up.
In other news, my 2 week check up yesterday went well. I still have more swelling on the right side than the left and that side is more tender. Dr. Barulich said he did more scraping and cleaning inside on my right side than the left, so he wasn't surprised it was still more swollen and sore. I did get clearance to drive and lift up to 25 lbs. So at least I can get the kids around and lift Nait's carseat. Unfortunately this also means that mom is going home. We have enjoyed and been extremely thankful she has been able to stay with us for almost 3 weeks. If the weather cooperates, Dad is planning on driving over tomorrow to pick her up, sad day!!!
The girls were glad to be back to school today. There was a lot of snow in the last few days so recesses were inside. They love that, because their teachers don't mind if they stay in their rooms and read. This makes them very happy!!! They also had piano lessons this afternoon. Mom picked them up and took them to piano so Nait and I could get some rest, which we both did. I got a really good nap most of the time they were gone. Broc was so good, he stayed upstairs and played and watched a movie when we realized Nait and I were sleeping. As soon as he heard Nait wake up he came down to check on us, and asked if we needed him to get us anything. What a sweetheart!!!
Cheyanne is starting basketball this week. She has two weeks of practices before games start. She is very excited to be with the same coach as last year. The coaches daughter, Melody, and her a very good friends, and they play ball together very well. Melody is really tall, and Chey is really fast, they make a great team. It will be fun to watch her play on a full sized court this year.
This weekend was great. The kids behaved really well and we did lots of visiting and introducing Nait to many of my family. Great-grandmas loved him, of course, and so did many of his great aunts. We came home Sunday early, just in time to miss the snow over the summit.
Well I will leave with a few new pictures. Broc has taken many and some sweet ones with great-grandmas.
